Last week, I was invited to attend the Launch Event for La Roche-Posay's first Hydrating BB Cream!
It was held at the STOCK Restaurant's LOFT (Toronto Trump Hotel) which was located at the 31st floor. I was astonished by the beautiful skyscraper view of Toronto's financial district.
We were welcomed with Champagne and H'Orderves along with their chocolate corner! There was macaroons and cake pops! I'm not too much of a fan of sweets so I suck to h'orderves =) To me, the event seems quite exclusive with not too many people, I got to meet a few bloggers I haven't personally met before!!
Okay enough of me being distracted with treats and foodies, getting down to business - BB CREAM!
I'm a huge fan of BB Creams and I'm glad to find out more brands are creating them!
Press Photo - La Roche-Posay Hydreane BB Cream in Light
La Roche-Posay is a dermatological care brand and has a unique understanding of sensitive skin. The La Roche-Posay Laboratories have led almost 1,000 studies, both clinical and consumer-based, allowing them to develop a unique understanding of the daily reality of sensitive skin.
The Hydreane BB Cream is a 100% skincare + make up product.
I would say this is their first step touching the colour side of beauty since they are a skin care brand!
The Hydreane BB Cream is not a foundation nor tinted moisturizer, but it is a hybrid care product. It offers multiple benefits and "promises supple, fresh and comfortable skin, which is also uniform, flawless and incredibly luminous."

I brought Rica along that night, thank goodness she's there - she has this giddy talkative side to her which puts me at ease when I don't know too many people in the room :)
She had less make up than me that day so she went for the demo - THANK YOU!
In the Before photo, she was comparing the swatches for Light and Medium.
She also has a bit of redness on her face.
In the After photo, the MUA is just doing touch ups, but her face is more radiant and her redness was gone. The MUA used both light and medium on different areas of her face.
Other bloggers also tried the product during the event and I thought it looked really great on them because it was subtle yet provided a very natural looking appearance. I've yet to review this but I'm looking forward to try it out myself!
At the end of the event, we were provided a little goodie bag to take home with the Hydreane BB Cream and STOCK Restaurant chocolates! Thanks LRP!
I have to give it up to Rica for helping me ask PR about an extra bag to give away for my dear readers.
She knew it's a small habit of mine to try to giveaway goodies to Sparklies whenever I attend a launch event!
Unfortunately because it was press samples and way before the launch date, I was unable to get it. Sorry guys!! =(
What do you think of a skin care line launching a BB cream?! Excited??
