PROVERBS 4:23-27 Guard Your Heart

Lately, I'm participating more with my church and following my heart to pursue my second dream job.
I'm so grateful to experience what I've been exposed to so far. Hosted a girl's day at my house this weekend and it was so much fun! Might do a quick photo diary on it. I will be organizing a Girls Night Out and Habitat for Humanity team soon as well. As for the job, I want it so bad that sometimes I break down imagining how lost I will be again if I don't get it. If this is what God has planned for me, I will gladly take it. If it isn't, I know I need to have faith that He will open another door for me. Easier said than done.

Regardless, I do have some dilemmas within me and I've felt extremely guilty for not opening up. A lot of negativity has been surrounding me and I've received advices from plenty that stands on different grounds.   I've decided to go to the scriptures to help me steer my thoughts.

oh geez, I should've ironed my collar. It just wouldn't stay down! *roar*

Proverbs 4:23-27
Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Put away perversity from your mouth; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.  Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. Make level [a] paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm.  Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
