Review:
I have 3 primers that I use and I have to say this is by far one of my favourites. Although this product is sponsored by Cover FX, I first sampled it from the Spring TOBB Meet Up goodie bag. I feel in love almost immediately. It had a very different feel compared to other primers I've used before. I remember I was raving about it on Twitter a few times too! So I started to hunt this product down and tried to find a good deal. At one point, Shoppers Drug Mart had a promotion (I tweeted this AGAIN, because I wanted everyone to try it out!) but I had a huge project at work… totally forgot about it. I wanted to kick myself (I love a good deal, who doesn't?) and just when I was about to just buy it at retail price because I ran out and was desperate, their PR company contacted me. I was so happy!!

Sorry about my jibberish, got a little carried away! I'll start the review now!
The packaging of the product is a squeeze tube, which keeps the product hygenic. I was reading others review, and noticed that it used to be a pump bottle. I think that I prefer the current packaging much better because no product will be wasted. The size is easy to fit into make up bags and it is travel safe. The product itself has a runny consistency unlike other primers which is usually more solid and cream like. I almost want to say that it feels like liquid silicon but greasier.

I have normal to dry and combination skin, especially when it is fall and winter times, my foundation never stays put because my skin is just too too dry. The product keeps my foundation on all day without any crease around my nose and mouth areas. Those areas tends to be my weak spots for my foundation because there are so much motion from the facial muscles. I also did not have greasy spots around my nose until around 6 hours later. My other primers usually gives me grease spots around 4 hours later so this product did a much better job.

Usually a little bit goes a long way and I usually let my skin absorb a bit before I apply anything else on top of it. The best part I like about the product is actually because it's more runny than other primers as mentioned before. Most primers nowadays are stiff and very silicon like which makes it a bit hard to spread/blend. This product makes blending extremely easy and I love that I don't need to rub hard into my skin. Our skin is delicate and we shouldn't have to rub harshly for the primer to blend into our skin.

I have read other reviews saying this might not be a great product for oily skin types, so I highly recommend trying a sample before purchasing as the product is a little pricy. In comparison to other reputable primers on the market such as Laura Mercier ($40 for 1.5oz), Smashbox
($44 for 1.0 oz), bare minerals ($28 for 1.0 oz) etc, the price is still more steep when you break it down by millilitre.

Finally for long term benefits, I find that it is a great plus that it is moisturizing for my skin, which is a feature, that none of my other current primers were able to provide. I do recommend this product for dry skin types for this winter season. Due to the price though, check out the samples or buy it on a deal :)
