L'Oreal Paris x 50 Years of Bond Style Event

Emily, Michele, Me, Rica at the James Bond Exhibition

Last night, I attended the exhibition, Designing 007: Fifty Years of Bond Style at the TIFF Bell Light Box thanks to L'Oreal Paris Canada. I LOVE EXHIBITIONS!!!!! =DDD

It was so spectacular because I love checking out all the costumes and crops in films! Too bad I couldn't take any photos inside but IT WAS SO COOL! I loved the Gold Room where there was a gold, naked lady lying facedown on the bed and the Casino Room where you can check out all the beautiful gowns and tuxedos worn in the films. How can I not mention the room with all of Bond's secret weapons such as briefcases, laser polaroid camera, little gadgets and so much more! WICKED STUFF!!!

I was starving by the end of exhibition tour, it was dinner time, I think I was whining about it every 10 minutes. I'm pretty annoying when I'm hungry... PIGGG! So we rode the elevator to upstairs where L'Oreal Paris team prepared yummy, Bond-themed treats for us!!

On our way to the bar where there are nom nom, we see the new skincare items which will be introduced at the event.

CUTE & CREATIVE treats that will me you SQUEAL!!!

Strawberry Tuxedo

Choco-Octopussy - Chocolate Pudding Martini

Those are like sexy legs, you see!

As a pig, I went home after for a second dinner hahah!
At least I don't look like a pig, yet!

After a bit of chit chat, fellow bloggers and I sat down to see the presentation!

My Initial Thoughts:
I'm truly in love with this product the second I tried it out on the back of my hand. One of my drugstore go to primers used to be the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base and I can honestly say we have a tough match here. This product is highly comparable to the Givenchy Mister Mat Mattifying Foundation Primer. Price point break down is about the same, I will go into further details on this when I review the product.

The "Viagra" in Skin

This was such a hilarious slide during the presentation! So unexpected!!
The serum is described as the Viagra of Skin!
Many bloggers were like ...hold this slide!! *snap snap*

My Initial Thoughts:
Maybe because I'm a female, I'm not a fan of strong cologne scented on skin care items. The serum smells just like my boyfriend's cologne. It absorbs quickly but a little tacky as well. Maybe it's the "firming" function. I'm not a huge fan but I'll pass it to JC and see if he digs it.

Finally, a picture of me in front of the L'Oreal Paris banners. Emily took outfit pictures of me but they are on her camera so she will send me those whenever and I'll post my outfit then!

Thanks to L'Oreal Paris team for such a fun event! I loved the exhibition, had great food, caught up with fellow beauty lovers, hung out with my girls and really looking forward to trying the new primer!!
