I'm wearing the BB Cream in Light to Medium with no Foundation Powder.
I did wear some concealer to cover my dark circles. This was taken with indoor light setting.

And this was taken with flash! I'm surprised my face didnt go white like a ghost like with most BB Creams.

Directions of Use
I usually like to apply BB creams using a stippling brush or a really densed flat top synthetic brush to apply. Or, when I'm lazy with the brush, I just apply it to my face with fingers like a cream without massaging motions.

Here are the instructions to use the BB Cream provided by Marcelle:
1) The Marcelle® BB Cream is a day cream which should be applied after the skin has been properly cleansed as a corrective tinted moisturizer. For a more intense moisture surge, the BB Cream may be applied on previously moisturized skin.
2) Use it alone or over your moisturizer to unify your complexion.
3) Use it as a make-up base under foundation for total coverage and improved stay-on power.

Swatch: Light to Medium
A Drop, Quick Swatch, Blended out

The color that I tried out is Light to Medium, I'm very very impressed with the color actually and its self adjusting abilities. I've tried several BB creams and I rarely come across self-adjusters that go so closely with my skin tone. Usually, they go too too light or just didn't adjust at all. As you can see in the above swatch, it seems to be a light sand color and even when it was blended out, you still see the color differences. That picture was taken within 30 seconds of swatching. The color you see on my face in all the other pictures were after an entire day of wear. It blended out just fine and I don't even need to use foundation powder to adjust the colours.

Although I only received the official packaged BB cream a few days ago, I've been trying the Lab Sample since Nov 16, the Annabelle/Marcelle Launch Party! It was supposed to be a secret so my lips were sealed. So excited to finally introduce this to you now :)

I actually think the price is pretty decent. Most BB creams on the market is sized at about 35ml to 50ml. I often see in size 40ml priced at about $15 to $45 depending on the brand.
So for example, Skin79 is usually about $10-15 while Missha can be anywhere between $20-45 depending where you purchase it. Most international brands like Maybelline and Revlon were retailing for about $15 to $25 for about 30ml. The price for Marcelle's BB cream is about average considering it's a Western brand, but just a tiny bit steep compared to Asian brands.

The packaging is a toothpaste pump tube.

Obviously, you guys know BB Cream isn't anything NEW! I've been talking about BB cream in the past and even tweeted a lot of BB creams I saw in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. HOWEVER!!!!! For a Canadian to finally launch it in North America, I gotta give my fullest support at introducing it. Now, let's start with the review!

I'm not surprised with the packaging as I noticed that most of Marcelle's products opt for the chic and simple design. The Marcelle BB Cream is packaged in a toothpaste pump tube which I'm comfortable with and it reminds me of the Lieole Beyond Solution BB Cream.

The texture is just like any BB cream, I'm again impressed that it's not some tinted moisturizer or make up base that claimed to be a BB cream - I have seen western brands do that before - those usually make me angry! I usually use my hands to warm up the BB cream and apply it to my face rather than using brushes just because I'm lazy and I'm so used to doing it this way. Sometimes, on a good day, I'll use a brush but I feel like the brush just eats away much of the product.

Does it break out my skin? A bit. Unfortunately, it did a bit but compared to the Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream (which I do intend on reviewing, bought it for so long but because it broke me out constantly, I hesitated). Anyway, gotta focus, I keep getting sidetracked because I've encountered so many BB Creams! AHH! Marcelle's BB cream is moisturizing yet not greasy. Like I said above, I was able to wear it without foundation powder to set or to cover the shiny foreheads!

Due to my intense dark circles and stress-related pimples recently, I do have to use a concealer on top of the BB cream. It provided me a medium to complete coverage which I do highly appreciate because I need it right now. I do honestly believe that, if you enjoy light coverage, you can easily just apply less of the product :)

WHOAAA, long post! Keeping it real and to the core as much as I can. I really do have an extremely high expectations to BB Creams. Maybe I should do a huge BB Cream review post or video. What do you think?  By the way, how do you guys feel about finally having a Canadian brand make a BB cream? M.A.C. (Canadian brand) actually made a BB cream too but it was only sold in selected countries. Let me know all your thoughts and comments!

Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥
Product: 5/5 ♥ LOVE! Okay, the only thing would be the super minor break out but I still think that it's because I've been so stressed lately. The color adjusting element was just too impressive so I think that truly makes it up.
Packaging: 5/5 ♥ Practical.
Price: 5/5 ♥ Reasonable given the comparisons in the review.

ps, I was really close to sharing my extra tube of Marcelle BB cream with my readers, which I normally don't mind doing whenever I get extras from companies. But but but, I'm pretty obsessed with it right now and with work, I don't have the guts to test out another BB cream - recalls the Lioele one *Cries*
Sorry guys :(

pps, which reminds me!! I still gotta announce my previous giveaway winner!! Next Post I promise!!
