REVIEW: Arbonne International

This is the Sample Goodie Bag I received from Sheena - an Arbonne Independent Consultant. I met her through blogs when I just started blogging on this community. Here's her blog: http://glamour-buzz.blogspot.com/. She's so lovely, she provided me a Goodie Bag to play with. So I won't exactly call this a Sponsored Post since she's more of a friend and I wanted to help her spread the word!

As you can tell, there are many sample products in the Goodie Bag. It's quite difficult to entirely test it out due to its size (too small in quantity to test more than 1-3 uses) and the packaging it is in (I suspect that some of the products may not be able to preform to the best of its abilities).

Quick Overview of Arbonne International
The idea to provide skin care products unparalleled in quality and effectiveness developed in Switzerland in 1975, when one man, Petter Mørck, together with a group of leading bio-chemists, biologists and herbalists, fulfilled his vision and founded Arbonne.

Arbonne's skin care products, based on botanical principles, became a reality in the United States in 1980 and are now shared throughout the world through Arbonne's network of Independent Consultants. Building on these same founding principles, Arbonne's product line has since grown to include both inner and outer health and beauty products that are unparalleled in quality, safety, value, benefits and results!

The wonderful thing about Arbonne is that it's not just about great products, it's also about great people. The Arbonne family is made up of thousands of individuals working to make their dreams come true. Through sales incentives and rewards, travel opportunities, a generous SuccessPlan and great products, Arbonne offers a unique opportunity that can help make anyone's vision for the future a reality.

Invigorating Body Cleanser Review:
Item#: 7387
Claims: Hydrating as it cleanses, this enriched formula provides the supple, soft feeling of youthful-looking skin.
Size: 50 ml
Price: $29.00
Review: I think it worked as a cleanser. I didn't see too much bubble formation on my loofah though. I don't find it very hydrating either because my skin was showing "snake-skin" right after shower compared to using Dove's Body Wash, I felt more moisturized and smooth. So, I don't recommend this item.

Conditioning Body Moisture Review:
Item#: 7389
Claims: Moisturizes skin with a cool sensation, leaving it feeling velvety soft and smooth.
Size: 237 ml
Price: $29.00
Review: I find that this product may be good for those with oily skin and resides in a tropical area. As for me (super dry skin, northern winters), I don't think this product worked too well. I literally used up this entire pack on my arms and it was literally all gone within 30 seconds. Absorbtion is great but it did not leave my skin smooth or soft. I think my skin was VERY VERY hungry for hydration.

ps, I did double check the sizes back on the website. It's crazy how the cleanser is only 50ml while the moisturizer is 237ml and they both cost $29!

Hydrating Eye Crème Review:
Item#: 7385
Claims: Hydrating eye crème minimizes the appearance of dark circles and fine lines to help revitalize skin, promoting a more youthful look.
Size: 15 ml
Price: $36.00
Review: I was able to use this sample for a total of 3 days (which is very short for eye cream reviews). I didn't see any noticeable improvement to revitalize my skin. I find it rather sticky during application. Luckily, my eye bags didn't break out (it tends to do that with new eye creams). The downfall is, I feel that after the morning face wash, the product is completely washed out. I haven't seen improvements on my dark circles, not even the slightest bit. However, this is the thing with eye cream samples, it's difficult to see immediate results. Usually, skincare products needs at least 2 weeks or more to see more visible so for now, at least there's no irritations or break outs which is good. Ps, it smells really good, too!!

Lip Polish Pearl Review:
Item#: 7875
Claims: Luscious lip polish glides on silky smooth and delivers superior shine without the stickiness.
Size: 5.9 ml
Price: $30.00
Review: The Lipgloss comes with a sponge applicator mini. I used it to apply it on my lips and it was very pigmented to the color you see on this package. I really like this color, it is the perfect nude for my skin tone - light with yellow undertones. I do believe it should work on darker skin tones to if you apply less of the product. There's a small bit of stickiness to it similar to the MAC lipglosses but it is very longlasting and it doesn't smudge around my lip area (many lipglosses tends to do that to me).

Sheer Glow Highlighter Review:
Item#: 7875
Claims: Luminescent highlighter adds radiance and a soft glow to the complexion. Suitable for all skin tones.
Size: 30 ml
Price: $46.00
Review: I find that this highlighter is very natural. It is in liquid form and reminds me strongly of the Smashbox Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion in Diffuse (glistening pearl). It was very easy to blend and use. The original size of this product comes with a pump, which is much cleaner to use than "double-dip" designs. The size of the product is larger than Smashbox, so the price is not too over the top compared to the Smashbox. It is a good alternative if you would like to try a new brand of highlighter!

Makeup Primer Review:
Item#: 7825
Claims: Vitamin-rich makeup primer visually diminishes fine lines and pores, creating a canvas for flawless makeup application.
Size: 30 mL
Price: $45.00
Review: I'm in awe with the amazing-ness of this product. This is definitely comparable to the Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer which I swear by. Instead of being clear in color, it has a tint of pink but it is invisible when applied. I love how the surface of my skin becomes super smooth and soft. It helped blend my BB cream onto my face. It also has a great lasting power!

Overall:
I would recommend trying the Lipgloss, Sheer Glow Highlighter and Make Up Primer  as it did live up to its claims and its a great alternative to using brands such as Smashbox and MAC.
