HAUL: MAC Warehouse Sale Friday Dec 3rd 2010

Hello Everyone!!
This is my first time going to the sale so I was pretty jumpy and excited and heart bumping and all that good stuff ^___^

I purposely didn't show my NARS or LISA's cosmetics haul in my blog because I was scared of being called crazy. I did take a few pix for twitter and had a little bit of my "bragging rights" moment hehe. Anyways, I did decide to show this haul since it is one of my most anticipated warehouse sale and I had the most control (thanks Emily) so yup! Let's get started!!

1) Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Set - $25 (Retails $45USD)
There's a story to this one. Emily and I picked this one up at the Returns section and literally never let go because it seemed like ultimately HG quality. But, we didn't know the price and people were quite ..mean, about the whole, you didn't bag it rule. So we went around the location like 3 times to search for the section this item belonged. no results (probably sold out). At one point, this man didn't believe the price I told him (I admit, I made it up). then okay, time to be honest so we asked MANY people. No one even wanted to bother with us. Then Emily and I were just about to give up, we asked one more time and this lady was wholeheartedly wanting to help and found the price for us. Turned out it was ACTUALLY $25. Ding Ding Ding **JACKPOT**

2) MAC Do-The-Trick and Line Brushes $35 (Retails $50USD)
This set was a Holiday Special Edition/Collection from Winter 2009. This came with a brush bag along with 168SE, 187SE, 209SE, 219SE, 252SE. I wanted the 187 for the longest freaking time. I also needed more eye-related brushes. woohoo ^___^  I was fighting myself not to get the Bobbi Brown Brush Set for $65. It was so nice but I considered my want vs need. *pat on back, Joyce*

3) MAC Fix+ Rose $12 (Retails $22.50CAD)
I got this because Theresa gave me the baby version of Fix+ (see here) and I loved it. I did some research on it and it's a multi-purpose item. Good thing I had a few days to test it out. When I have more time, I will do a full review :)

4) Eyelashes $4 (Retails $16.50CAD)
Okay, I know I'm going to sound like a big cheap ass. Yes, these eyelashes are a BARGAIN already BUT, all the last MAC warehouse sales had them for $3. Why is it this time, my first time going, it becomes $4?!?  !@#$% btw, I really wanted #48 and its not there =(( I did stock up on some bottom lashes. I've been wanting to get some. Dolly Wink #6 I believe were bottoms, but they were detached so I was worried I might have them placed crocked and funny looking. *can't wait to try these out!!

5) Bobbi Brown Cleansing Oil $30 BOGOF. (Retails $38USD, $45 CAD)
Okay, again, WTF! This was $20 for 2 at the last MAC warehouse sales. So I did limit myself to 2 instead of my original plan of 4 bottles. I'm a cleansing oil freak! I currently have more than 6-8 bottles not opened hahahah. I do wanna do all my tests with it! To achieve perfect skin, we need to begin with CLEAN skin. Definitely a NEED.

6) MAC Select Cover Up NW15 $9 (Retails $20CAD)
I'm about finishing my Maybelline Mineral Concealer. I recently bought one from Lisa's Cosmetics, it was Elizabeth Arden but I did find some flaws with it. Probably going to review it when I have more time (EXAMS omg..) ANYWAYS, just figured I might as well try this since the price is affordable at $9 and I heard great things. =)) This item is a NEED, I'm so proud of myself hehe.
ps, there is price increase here as well. It used to be $7!

7) MAC High-light Powder - Spectacle! $15 (Retails for $26USD, $32 CAD)
I'm extremely shallow. I simply love this because I love the packaging. This item is from the Dame Edna Collection 2008. I really dont know if I will ever use this. BUT ITS SO PRETTY!! just how can you resist??

8) Origins Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil $12 (Retails $18.50USD)
Just to satisfy my love for cleansing oils. I bought this over the MAC cleansing oil because MAC's was $15 for 150ml and this one was $12 for 200ml. Beyond the price-volume difference, I was reading Origins ingredients, seems to be more organic. Anyway, I need to do more research before I'm firm on this. ps, Bobbi Brown is about $15 for 200ml as well.

I think my haul is rather different than most people's makeup-FULL hauls. That's because, I'm so disappointed with the prices and variety there today! And, I was Skincare minded today.

Price Changes:
Eyeshadows and Pigments are $12 NOT $9
Lipsticks are $10 NOT $15 BOGOF
Bobbi Brown & MAC Cleansing Oil $30 for 2 NOT $20 for 2
NO MORE $3 Bins, it's $4 Bins
Nail Polish and Concealer $9 NOT $7
Blushes and Cheek products $15 NOT $12
Eyeshadow Palettes $25 NOT $15 ($10 jump! Unbelievable!)
There are plenty of changes. I guess I will have to do another post on Info and Tips another day :)

So much plastic bags everywhere. I feel awful about it. Although this is nothing compared to the amount of bags used at the sale, it is still quite a lot of the small amount that I bought from today.

Free Gift: Nail Lacquer - Nocturnelle
Nail Lacquer - Tartan Tale Collection 2010 - 5 Naughty Little Vices - Nocturnelle
I wonder what people got earlier than me! Also, I wonder what people got on Saturday and Sunday! Please comment below :)

Charity Bag:
I only got one variety because I believe Emily and I were there a bit late. So I'm hoping to swap with people for sure!!

These are the stuff Emily and I split together since Theresa bought 7 bags off us. I'm still totally cool about it since we got these invitations for free. Like, can you complain? I can't ^____^

Emily and I alone managed to get 12 charity bags from the sale =) She got the lady behind us to grab 4 bags for us because Elle was long gone as she couldn't get back into the warehouse and wasn't able to buy any bags because she got off premise by accident.  :(

And, all at the same time, a lady butted in front of me where I told her "oh, there's actually a line up going on here" she pointed her finger at me, came close and told me "just be quiet" *mean face* I blew up and she still dared to continue stay butted in front of me and lied in my face saying "I was just here".

Honestly, she didn't even tell anyone (stranger or not) to hold her spot. Emily and I were actually in line the second time because we left the line and then re-lined up (we were looking for Elle at the gate and back and forth etc). Anyway, I don't see why this lady would have this special previlege to stay "lined up" when she walked off. She then never looked back at me, I made sure her and her friends felt VERY uncomfortable. She was still trying to get her friends to come up from the back of the line to meet up with her. Her friends were too scared to come up though (ha!)

yea yea, call me mean and bitchy, I mean, what would you have done? I'm just thankful Emily was so calm. I feel kinda bad actually, Emily had to bare with me blowing up. THANK YOU!! We're a wonderful team woohoo! She's my good balance ^___^ anyway, more stories but totally not related to the event haha =P

This is about my share for Charity Bags. I really want to swap just because I didn't even see the other bags!!! Please let me know what the other bags are! Thank you so muchh!!!
