With Petite Feet Sample Shoe Sales weekend almost ending for me (I only attend the Markham one), several beauty and health warehouse sales are about to begin.

Lisa’s Cosmetics...
is a warehouse sale that began roughly 4-5 years ago. It was actually my mom who took me to the first one. There are two sales every year (Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter). It is described as the following on their website:
"Enjoy savings of up to 80% off on a huge collection of cosmetics and frangrances from brands such as Elzabeth Ardenm Red Earth Cosmetics, Britney Spears, Armani, Baby Phat, Burberrym CK, Gucci, Guess, and Givenchy just to name a few!”

Admission is FREE!

♥My Last Visit:
I usually go on the Earliest date. I have been signed up for several years now. Early days have the most selection. Elizabeth Arden’s 8-Hr Cream Gift Sets and popular Smashbox products & Gift Sets always sell out very quickly. I don’t think they restock daily, but this might change since they gained popularity over the years and usually overstock on products. My tip would be to check expiry dates, some of the products are discontinued on the market. The staff there are NOT professional cosmetic/make up artists. They are usually high school students or housewives working a temporary job. Their opinions are not always correct. Make sure you do your research on the products before you go. Red Earth cosmetics are VERY cheap there. I remember one time, it was $5 for any 3 pieces of make up. CRAZY! The sale also have a large range of Sally Hansen nail products. Nail polishes are priced from $1-$4. Brands include Sally Hanson, Revlon, Borghese, and more. There are also drugstore brands such as Pantene Pro V, Veet, Gilette, etc. In fact, in recent years, they even included Marcelle, and Annabelle Cosmetics. They actually have a VERY large collection of fragrances. I bought Dior Addict 2 set for $65 and a YSL Baby Doll for $28. Just to give you an idea of the prices. I think that's a really good deal. I suggest to go to department stores first and find your favorites because once you get there, it's very hard to differentiate.

This is a great opportunity for you to stock up before the Christmas holidays!

"The International Make-Up Artist Trade Show is the make-up world’s biggest gathering. Thousands of make-up artists, vendors and enthusiasts discuss, display and collect the best the industry has to offer. Make-up pros from fashion and film (including Oscar, BAFTA and Saturn award winners) provide education and demonstrations at IMATS, and new products often debut there. IMATS also features a make-up museum and an Afterglow party, where trade-show guests can socialize.

Before IMATS, there were no trade shows specifically designed for make-up artists, although cosmetic companies had expressed a desire for such an event. In response, Make-Up Artist magazine publisher Michael Key held the first IMATS in August 1997 in Los Angeles. It allowed artists to customize what they wanted to see and it offered a diverse mix of products, demonstrations and education from industry leaders."
IMATS only hosted their first show in Toronto in 2009. Koren and Elessa V. (sensational YouTube Gurus) actually made their appearance last year!

♥ I say..
I'm still debating whether I should go or not. I have mentioned this in previous post, MUFE is sold for 40% off and there is pre-order system. See my MUFE post for details. There are interesting Exhibitors which I'm very interested in as well such as NYX, Ben Nye Makeup, Crown Brush, Eve Pearl, FACE atelier, M.A.C., Naked Cosmetics, Nars Cosmetics, OCC, Stila Cosmetics, Temptu Pro, Yaby Cosmetics. Yes, I'm interested in PLENTY of brands however I'm not exactly a Make Up junkie, I'm more of skincare and fashion addict. I'm STILL deciding to go or not!!  I don't know who to go with because I don't want to make my bf pay $35 to go with me. He's not into this stuff. I don't know many youtube gurus in Toronto =( I know TBB has been organizing meet ups though, but i don't know any of the ladies there =( AHH, I suddenly feel like a loner! lol
Points I have Gathered:

Now, I have been searching thru hundreds of blogs and youtube videos over the last few days on reviews from last year. Here are some points I have gathered (True or not, don't quote me since I haven't seen the event first hand. But this should save you some time from reading and watching 32739423 blog posts and videos)

#1, you can tak your way for a bit cheaper but don't expect swap cheap.
#2, do your research to save time from lining up
#3, go early and arrive to speaker schedules on time because they fill up quick!
#4, crown brushes are about $3-8
#5, MUFE Pro E/S refills are sold there, for $13 (no 40% off)
#6, IMATS Toronto 2009 didn't have MAC
#7, MAC Warehouse sales should be in DEC, so yep, you decide
#8, Naked Cosmetics - pigments (6/set) were $30$, retail $60. 2 for $50
#9, There are make up competitions, those are VERY interesting to watch and take pictures of
#10, you get to meet tons of people, bring your business cards!
#11, OCC - $10 lip tars, retail $12.50. $8 loose powders, retail $10. $5 nail polishes, retail $8.
#12, not sure if NYX @ IMATS is cheaper than NYX @ ebay
#13, there are tons of brochures and flyers, grab everything!

This time, I'm hoping to go with a fellow Toronto Blogger! Anyone interested??
Please email me at

Okay, I'm sure half of you guys know about this so I won't talk too much about it. I am desperately  trying to get tickets to go to this event. It is strictly by invitation. If you have tickets, would you pretty please bring me! haha. If I finally get my hands on the tickets, I will certainly elaborate on the info for this. Apparently, this is a Canada-only event. If I'm not wrong, the next one should be in December.

I think I have covered all the MAIN sales for the remaining months of 2010. I look forward to all of your comments =) I still need to reply a few from my previous posts. Really busy with everything, sorry! If you are interested in going to any of these events, let me know! =)) In the meantime, SAVE MONEY GIRLS!!!!!!!
